Same thing here : http://www.evoluerpourchangerdevie.com/ateliers-veggie/ and it’s supposed to be like here : https://demos.boxystudio.com/cooked/recipe-lists/
Thanks for your help
Hey there!
Cooked uses “rem” font sizes, which depend on the theme to tell it what size to use as the default “1rem” size. If the theme doesn’t include a default font size, it is 12px. What you can do is add some custom css to fix this:
html { font-size:16px; }
Or “15px”, or “20px”. Whatever you want!
You will find the Custom CSS tab on the WordPress Customizer from Appearance > Customize.
Thanks for your help, it’s ok !
Another question, sorry but i really don’t understand.
So, I have these page : http://www.evoluerpourchangerdevie.com/ateliers-veggie/ and http://www.evoluerpourchangerdevie.com/recettes/
but when we click on the category on this page http://www.evoluerpourchangerdevie.com/recettes/ or in a recipe, the link is redirect on http://www.evoluerpourchangerdevie.com/ateliers-veggie/recipe-category/gateaux/ (for example) instead of http://www.evoluerpourchangerdevie.com/recipe-category/gateaux/
Can you help me ? 🙁
I’m having the same issue, with just one theme from StudioPress (and of course it is the theme I like the most).
When I apply the html fix as described above, it does increase the font for the [cooked-browse] shortcode, but it also increases the font throughout the site.
How do I impact the font size for the plugin only without impacting the rest of the site?
The theme you’re using is probably setting the font sizes using percentages, which is really annoying! However, there are definitely ways to pinpoint WHERE you want this font size to go, you will just need to point the CSS to each piece. Here are a few to get you started:
.cooked-recipe-search, .cooked-recipe-grid, .cooked-recipe-info, .cooked-recipe-excerpt, .cooked-recipe-ingredients, .cooked-recipe-directions, #cooked-timers-wrap, .cooked-nutrition-label, .cooked-fsm { font-size:16px; }
Thanks for the quick reply – they mentioned they use “rem” which I see you mentioned above as well, so I’m not sure where the mismatch may be.
At any rate, where do I need to hunt these down and edit? In the PLUGIN>ASSETS>CSS>Style.css file, or elsewhere?
No no, don’t edit anything! Just go to the Customizer and add your Custom CSS there:
Appearance > Customizer > Additional CSS
Ah, ok, got it. I did that and while I can see where some elements are impacted by me changing the font size, I still just can’t get the font on the browse button (and subsequently the text input field and filter text button) to change in size. I’m trying to use the [cooked-browse] feature to create an index page of all recipes.
Is there anything in the Pro/paid version that would help me get through this?
No, but you can submit a bug report here and I’ll take a look at your site and provide you with the full CSS you’ll need:

Thanks so much!
Hello @boxystudio, I have the same problem with @pelokee and I’m also using a studiopress theme, I’ll send you a message on the cook-pro support so you can share this solution with me too, thank you!
Awesome, thank you! Just submitted.
