Fonts load time nearly 3 seconds
-
Hi all.
I’m trying to speed up my website load times. I’m using LiteSpeed Cache and recently set up CloudFlare as a CDN.
Checking page load speeds, they seem slower than before I set up the CDN, so maybe I’m doing something wrong. Using PageSpeed Insights, one area that looks slow is the loading of fonts for this plugin:-
https://naomiraywoodreflexology.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/gdpr-cookie-compliance/dist/fonts/nunito-v8-latin-regular.woff2 (naomiraywoodreflexology.co.uk) – 2,830 ms, 19.06 KiB
https://naomiraywoodreflexology.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/gdpr-cookie-compliance/dist/fonts/nunito-v8-latin-700.woff2 (naomiraywoodreflexology.co.uk) – 3,001 ms, 19.18 KiB
I can see a possible setting under Branding -> CDN Base URL, with the comments “Enter your CDN root URL to enable CDN for GDPR Lity library files. The URL can be http, https or protocol-relative (e.g. //cdn.example.com/).” However, as there is no specific URL for the cloudflare CDN, I’m not sure what URL goes in it.
Is there any other setting that would improve this performance? Maybe, a way to not have to use those fonts at all?
