What happened when you changed the download path? Did it create the directory and still not download the files? You could try moving the download folder outside the cache folder.
Have you checked the permissions of the created folder?
I just realized that it isn’t creating a database table when reinstalled it after I deleting the database manually.
Try deleting the “caos_webfonts_db_version” & refreshing the settings page. This should trigger a re-install.
You aren’t using Multisite are you?
