# Fontawesome JS render blocking

 * Minor issue but Google PSI is telling me that the file [https://use.fontawesome.com/598b3d998a.js](https://use.fontawesome.com/598b3d998a.js)
   is render blocking on most pages other than my homepage. I’ve tried using the
   essential icons code found here: [https://generatepress.com/fastest-wordpress-theme/](https://generatepress.com/fastest-wordpress-theme/)
   but this hasn’t helped. I’m not using non-default icons AFAIK on the pages it’s
   happening and I’ve got Autoptimise installed, what else can I try to defer this
   file or stop it being loaded on post pages?
