Support » Fixing WordPress » Font size won’t change on any page except home page

  • Hi all,

Everything was going fine with my site, when all of a sudden I changed around the default fonts from the appearance – customise tab (as I have done many times before). Now, the fonts on my posts will not get any bigger as I change the font size, be it h1, h3 or paragraph. The font size does change on my homepage and in the sidebar, just not in my posts? As if there is some kind of maximum lock. I even changed the font size in the stylesheet from appearance – editor, but still when I load my post it is no bigger.

I have no idea what is causing this, and have tried to search but to no avail. Maybe something to do with an update from what I read? It’s driving me crazy.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hey there,

It looks like there’s a bit of a CSS issue. Changing the header sizes in the customizer is working fine but isn’t actually targeting the text. Do you mind trying to remove the bold (<strong></strong>) effect from one of the headers that isn’t changing? If that doesn’t work then I can write a few lines of code that would fix it if you’d like.

Let me know if that works,
    Sage
