# Font Not Changing

 * We have been running Font Sampler on this website for a while with no issue, 
   but now for some reason, it has just stopped working.
 * I have re-upload the fonts, deactivated all the plugins, and even changed the
   theme with no luck.Any other suggestions?

 * Hey,
    it’s not unlikely something else that changed implicitly broke something
   that now prevents Fontsampler from rendering correctly.
 * When I view the page the fonts seem to get loaded in the browser and the Fontsampler
   initializes okay. The only error I can see in the developer console, and this
   might or might not have anything to do with this, is this:
 * > Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the 
   > remote resource at [https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/id](https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/id).(
   > Reason: CORS request did not succeed).
 * It could be that this error prevents Fontsampler from executing after it. Is 
   there any plugins or other code that uses googleads that you could try deactivate
   and see if that changes the situation?
 * What WP and PHP versions are you on? And what version of Fontsampler?

 * We are currently running PHP 7.2 and the WordPress version is 5.4.2.
 * We currently don’t have any plugins that run google ads, I have resolved the 
   CORS error and still getting nothing. Using Version 4.7 of Fontsampler, get an
   issue with version 4.9.
 * Getting a “Warning; file_exists(): FILe name is longer tan the maxium allowed
   path length on this platform (4096)” error on version 4.9, could this have anything
   to do with this?
