• Dear Plugin Contributors,

I set up a new WP on WP local, using the latest WP version and the TwentyTwentyThree theme. I downloaded and installed the Create Block Theme plugin and created a Style Variation. After that I uploaded a local font. Using the site editor (beta, under appearance) the font does not appear. It makes no change, if I upload a local font or use a Google font. If I change back to the default style, the font is visible (and usable).

I re-tried several times and additionally I did the following:
    – deactivated the firewall software on my computer,
    – closed and reopend WP local
    – deleted the browser cache
    no change 🙁

Then I set up a second WP on WP local, installed the plugin and uploaded fonts. The fonts are visible in the default style. Then I created a Style Variation and could use the fonts in the default style and the newly created style. After that, I again uploaded a font and the result is the same: I can see the font in the default style, but not in the style variation.

My expectation was, that the default style always inherit the “fonts availability”. Is this a wrong understanding? What do you suggest? I tried with the child theme option and received only a lot of warnings as described on some other support questions.

I am glad for every support. 🙂

Hi @lokomofeilow did you manage to sort this out?
If not can you please share the local font you are trying to add to your site, I am also not very sure what you mean by the default style and style variation. I want to make sure I understand the issue properly, where exactly is the font type missing?
