• Hi guys,
I have two more problems with this plugin and I have been working on the solution for 10 hours now.

    1. the font color in the banner is light grey on a white background. I have no idea why. But this is definitely difficult to read. In the preview it is black. On my website it is light grey. How can I change this?

    2. after accepting the cookies, there is no way to return to the home page. It is displayed blank. Not good.

    Help, pls.

    Jay

    Hi Jay,

The font-color is likely overruled by the stylesheet of your website. This also explains why this doesn’t happen during the preview.
I just visited your website, but didn’t notice anything strange.

Both the text color and navigation seemed to be working as one might expect. Did you solve the issue in the mean time?

    Hi, Richard,
    thanks for answering.
I reinstalled everything. Since that time, it works with the font color, although I did not change anything on the stylesheet. But I also thought it might be related to that.

My second problem still exists. Actually, I have an animation on the start page, but it was not shown anymore, so I added a simple text block that is always displayed – no matter if the animation works or not.
I use the Elementor Pagebuilder. Is there a conflict with the Cookiebot?

    Hi Jay,

There used to be an issues with both Elementor and Divi editors, but these should be resolved in the latest version of our plugin (3.4)

Is there a way for me to see this issue somewhere? a staging area or an orphaned page perhaps?

    Hi Richard,

also here thanks for your reply. Without removing Cookiebot again I don’t know how to show the animation :(. But the screenshot at least shows what is not shown. The image is animated and the missing lettering is also animated. The animation is designed via Elementor.

But similar to the page of my friend (other thread) I might not have the right solution how to use the Cookiebot Script. Currently it is embedded via HTML in a text field of Elementor.
I have solved this on the other page by inserting the script into the header.php, but this is not possible on my page. If I do this, the page banner and images will not be loaded on the following page (www.jayden-v-reeves.co.uk/home).

    What shall I do? :-/

    Hello,

would you help me, with my problem, please?

After accepting the cookies, neither the entrance animation nor the social media buttons (created by Elementor) on my homepage are still not visible.

    Hi Jay,

If you’re using WordPress, the only sure way to implement the script in such a way that you can be sure that the Cookiebot script is the first to load, is to use our Plugin.

Any other way can’t guarantee that the script loads first, which means that some scripts may execute first and set cookies. Not executing the Cookiebot script is also know to cause errors in event handling, making some features break.

Judging from your description, changing the implementation method should fix the issue you describe.

    Thanks for the answer.

I’ve already tried all that. The code should be inserted in the header. I did that and it destroyed the view of the Custom Facebook Feed Plugin of smashballoon.com. 🙁
