Font color

  • I’m losing my mind…. I am somewhat new to this and dont know all the terms, but basically I cant figure out how to change the font color or the box color behind it. I am using a default template so I feel like it should have a spot for me to enter the font code or background code somewhere, but where?

Right now the theme is just to dark and I need to lighten it up. Can someone help a newbie? PLEASE 🙂

    Thanks!

You’ll need to include a link to your site – CSS is theme and site specific so no way to help without seeing it.

Looks like you are using a commercial theme – so you’ll need to ask the developer for help – as we don’t support those here – partly because we don’t have access to them for testing or use. Support is part of what you paid for, so they should be able to help you.

hummmm I asked him yesterday and he didn’t know either… there isn’t a genaric spot to find this?

It’s like when it first pops up I can see the options on the side, but then it quickly goes away. Is that because of the theme? Is there a way to change it??

Thank you SO much for your help!

He didn’t know? That’s an awfully strange reply if he’s the one who built the theme!

Styles (colors) are set in the CSS code – which is totally site and theme specific, so no, there’s not a generic fix. You could try using a tool like Firebug to work with CSS. This site may also be helpful as a CSS reference: http://www.w3schools.com/css/

Or a CSS forum might be able to help you: http://csscreator.com

I think it’s been a while since it was made…

Dang! I feel like I should stick with the site I have now! 🙁

    Thanks again!
