Please help me deal with fonts. On the site everywhere I put the font Calibri. For most operating systems, it displays correctly. I managed to find a problem on the MAC. For macOS Mojave, everything is correct, but for macOS Catalina (latest version), instead of Calibri, the default font is displayed (Times New Roman). What could be the reason and how to fix it? (attached photos – https://wetransfer.com/downloads/df61c00b02132d5a1cb896d304f348ec20191106090517/1642e484dafda55686c2137e998cf67320191106090517/cc1331 )
I use the Google Fonts Typography plugin, and it was through him that I installed the main font – Calibri. When the site just loads, the MAC computer correctly displays the font (Calibri), but a second after the download, it starts to show – Times New Roman. This font behavior is only on osMAC Catalina and on the iPhone.
I think that everyone who uses the Calibri font for their site and osMac Catalina should face this problem.
If you have any ideas, please write to me.

    With respect,
    Valery

    Hi @aymee,

Calibri is not distributed with macOS, it’s limited to Windows. That’s why it’s not displaying correctly.

We could add fallback fonts, like this: https://www.cssfontstack.com/Calibri

However, that would still not be the exact font you are trying to use.

Let me know what you think?

    Thanks

    Hi, Danny.

Thank you very much for the clarification, you’re right. I looked at the font information and came to the conclusion that I should use Trebuchet MS. It is supported by Windows and osMAC and is a bit like Calibri

Thanks again and have a nice day)))
