• Hi, when this plugin is used, front-end users are caused to emit a request for <https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.7.0/css/font-awesome.min.css?ver=5.4.2> (in the current version). This leads to data about you and your browsing, including the current page URL in the Refer(r)er header, to be handed to the operators of this content delivery network. I have no particular problem with this individual provider, but since they are US-based they are vulnerable to state surveillance measures beyond the control of other jurisdictions such as the EU. Generally, depending on external resources will put some users and off and rightfully damage privacy scores for sites using this plugin. Can I therefore ask you to include the package from fontawesome.com locally in the plugin’s asset folder, and remove the dependency on the external resource (or, if you prefer, to make depending on it an option that should be off by default)? I would be very grateful for that.
