Font Awesome not loading from server

    Hi, I inserted the font Awesome through the same function as the main font. And although main Sans font automatically preloads from Google (it was always the case), Font Awesome loads from your server, unless you use provided child theme example where you can enable CDN.

    The best way to check it yourself is to rename fonts directory and you will see that it will not load.

    So if your site slows down, you have to investigate what are the real cause.

    Hi Tomas,
    Thanks. I do use the child theme and it doesn’t make any difference when I change the name of the fonts folder. Can you give me a hint how to enable CDN.

    If it doesn’t change that means you are not actually use any of the Font Awesome icons on your site. Or you have to clean the cash of WP (if you use any caching plugin) or your browser.

    To enable CDN please see in functions.php of the child theme:

    2.6 – Tip01b – Properly exclude (dequeue and/or deregister) CSS and JavaScript files via functions.php
