    Hi,

    I need Font Awesome inclusions not to be via CDN but to be local.

    (In fact, I saw that it is printed link rel="stylesheet" href="https://use.fontawesome.com/releases/v6.2.1/css/all.css?ver=6.2.1")

    What can I do?

    This has come up a few times in the past. A compromise that works for some people is to load FontAwesome locally on the frontend however they wish. Just set “enqueue fontawesome” to “no” when you are creating your FontAwesome fields in ACF. And then include FontAwesome however you want to.

    I say ‘compromise’ because in the backend it will enqueue FontAwesome from the CDN. The backend makes heavy use of the FontAwesome API for searching icons/getting icon info/etc. This plugin cannot function completely locally on the backend.
