    Hello.

After upgrading to latest version of the plugin, all the Font Awesome Icons disappeared. I wasn’t using them in Genesis blocks, but with html and css in my code. By reinstalling the previous version of the plugin they show up again. I don’t have a url to display as I have reverted to the previous version.
If it is a bug in the plugin, maybe it has happened to someone else.

    Best Regards
    Jose

    Hey there,

Yes Font Awesome was removed in Genesis Blocks. If you need them, I would recommend installing this plugin:

Hi Phil. Solved. Thank you so much for your time and help.

    Thanks.
I know, but I mean that you offer a block called Profile Box Block, and it included social icons.
So, if I want to show social icons, I need an extra plugin (Font Awesome)?
My opinion is that in this case it’s better than you don’t offer Social Icons…
    Thanks.

@drunkfox My apologies, I should have explained more clearly what has happened. While Font Awesome was removed, the icons were all replaced with SVGs, so the Profile Box block and Social Sharing block will continue to show icons, even though Font Awesome was removed.

This makes it so that your page scores higher on Core Web Vitals / Lighthouse (Google’s page speed checker).

But the icons will definitely keep working without needing font awesome. The only reason you’d need Font Awesome (like I recommended above) is if you manually coded up some icons to show outside of blocks.
