Why did you switch from Font Awesome to Fork Awesome in release 5.2.0?

Please support the latest version of Font Awesome. At least let the admin deside which font to use in settings.

    Thank you very much!

Unfortunately, FA v5 isn’t backward compatible with v4. Also, it was triggering too many conflicts. That’s why I decided to add my own prefixes to icons.

At least let the admin deside which font to use in settings.

You can always switch libraries using the wp_deregester_style() function. But please note, SU uses custom CSS classes: sui-icon instead of fa-icon.

It is not backwards compatible but you could write a query to find all “icon” parameters within SU shortcodes in the database and replace them with the new wording when upgrading the SU plugin.

Which kind of conflicts is FA triggering?

FA is the most popular icon set and it would be a pity to not have it in SU.
