I’m hoping someone out there can help me. I’ve just backed up my site, using a combination of wp-back up plugin via my wordpress admin panel and my hosting provider’s fantastico database back up.
Now, for some reason when I go into WordPress Admin interface, my plugins and my themes (all of them) have disappeared. Interestingly enough, though, all files are still on my public domain.
I’ve done a hard re-fresh, no go.
My website is running, as if nothing has happened.
I’ve deleted theme files and plugins that were still on my public domain via FTP and reloaded them.
Still no good via wordpress admin interface.
Can someone please advise what I need to do
PS: My hosting provider can see all files and folders their end.
They believe its a wordpress situation.
PSS: I installed wp-backup two days ago and only just used it today.
PSSS: sorry. more info: when I did the backup using wp-back up plugin, it created a folder in my wp-content folder. It also created an index.php that’s sitting by itself.
Does that make sense?
