• I’ve looked this up before and no help is working for me. I’ve created a site with storefront and when I add a sidebar, an icon of an open folder comes up beside the category I am currently viewing.

    Any ideas how to fix this?

    can you share a link to your website showing the “open folder”

    what steps have you already tried that have not worked to solve your issue?

    Thanks for your response.
    I removed the sidebar from my site until this issue is resolved as it looks quite ugly so I can’t show you what it is. Basically when I add product categories to my sidebar, an icon of a folder comes up beside the category which is being viewed.

    I’ve tried adding the following to my stylesheet as per another topic in which someone had the same problem.

    .widget_categories > ul > li:before {
    content: close-quote;
    }
    .widget_recent_entries li:before {
    content: close-quote;
    }

    I understand that you are not able to share the website link for me to inspect the issue.

    If your theme is storefront, I would recommend asking your question in the storefront theme support area.

    That website isn’t very user friendly. Any other ideas? And yes, I am using storefront (pro).
