# Folder already exists 2

 * I tried to install the Yoast plugin through the normal procedure.
 * But I got the messsage that the folder already exists. Through several other 
   posts on this topic I managed to delete the wordpress-seo folder through my Plesk
   manager.
 * Still I am not able to re-install the Yoast plugin. I am keep getting the same
   default meassage.

 * This happens when the plugin is already installed, a file is missing or corrupt,
   or if you have renamed the wp-content folder. In this case, you need to manually
   install the plugin by uploading the plugin files via FTP.

 * Thank you for your reply.
 * I tried this before too, but for some reason I am able to see the plugin within
   the plugin folder inside my WordPress-page.
 * Could you please give me a clear instruction on that?

 * If you are unable to see the plugin folder located at /wp-content/plugins/wordpress-
   seo this may be due to a permissions issue, so if that is the case we would recommend
   checking with your hosting provider. However, we would recommend first trying
   to perform a manual upgrade of the plugin. We have instructions on how to upgrade

   You will need an FTP program such as FileZilla and your FTP details, which can
   be obtained from your host provider.
