# Focus Theme Settings – Slider

 * When I set “The number of posts to display.” on the Slider settings to only show
   one post on the front page, it seems to have no affect, showing all the posts
   I have made. I would like to only show one post.

 * My slider does not show up at all. Although the posts show up in the bottom. 
   Do I need to change “The number of posts to display”?

 * I haven’t been able to recreate this issue. On my development version the setting
   seems to be working properly. Maybe you could try disable any non essential plugins
   and see if that fixes the issue.
 * John, I think you might be experiencing a separate issue which we fixed with 
   the last update. Can you update to the latest version.

 * I had the same issue but the problem was with not putting a photo per post in
   the featured photo list. Once I did this everything worked well!
