Focus Keyword Metabox Not Saving Value After Update to Rank Math SEO v1.0.246

    Since updating to Rank Math SEO v1.0.246, I have been unable to save anything in the “Focus Keyword” metabox. Whenever I enter a keyword, click Update or Publish, and return to the editor, the field is blank. It appears as though the keyword is never actually stored in the database.
    Note:

    • I’m using the Classic Editor plugin version 1.6.7 for WordPress, I don’t use Gutemberg .
    • WordPress 6.8.1.

    Please check if you have a firewall, as there are chances that it will prevent saving the data. Please try whitelisting this route:
    /wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta

    Thanks for the reply! It looks like the problem was related to this fix.

    I already had these roles applied in Cloudflare, but I hadn’t added them to the cache plugin rules.

    I just added them, and it seems the cache plugin was blocking the endpoints in WordPress. After I whitelisted these URLs, everything started working properly — which is strange, because the previous version worked fine.

    This makes me think something else might be wrong.

    We are super happy that this resolved your issue. You can check with your cache plugin’s support to confirm why their plugin started blocking the route after the plugin update. They will be in a better position to provide more details about it.
