[resolved] FLV video as default (4 posts)

    Is there anyway to make FLV the default file to be played over mp4 and ogv? My hosting company does not host mp4 files but flv files play fine. I 'm hosting mp4 and ogv versions elsewhere but because of bandwidth concerns I want the flv files to be priority file format.

    I am sorry but I am not sure what you mean.

    You can only define one video file to play. If you assign FLV file to be the video file, then the player will plays the FLV file only .

    If you assign mp4 video file, then it will play the particular mp4 file only.

    I thought you could define multiple formats and the browser or device would play the compatible file like below.

    [hana-flv-player
    video="http://site1.com/flash/2012.flv"
    video="http://site2.com/html5/2012.mp4"
    video="http://site2.com/html5/2012.ogv"
    video="http://site2.com/html5/2012.webm"
    width="740"
    height="380"
    player="5"
    autoplay="true"
    loop="false"
    autorewind="true"
    splashimage="http://site2.com/homevidcap.jpg"
    skin="mejs-wmp"

    No...
    If you use multiple video attributes, only the last video attribute will be used as the source.

    Sorry.
