I am very new to WP and need some help. I have downloaded the FLV Embed plugin. I am not sure if I have entered the correct info that is needed in the settings.

I am really not sure what info is required? The setting page mainly tells you to leave blank if not required.I looked at

It says it uses [flv:url width height] so I entered this in my text [flv: 350 250] is this incorrect or should something else be used in the text part?I get notheing, but it displays this text.

I am not even getting the blank video player to show. In the settings should I enter where the plugin was installed in WP? /wp-content/plugins/flv-embed/flvplayer.swf

Or is there another method that works better than this plugin????

    thank you

  • I also tried setting the FLV path to and then entered in my text[flv:Video/HealthandMedicalDemo.flv 350 250]

    That didn’t work either.

I had some issues with this plugin too, there was a line break in the code that for some reason was causing wordpress to insert a paragraph tag in the middle of the javascript code. It’s around line 1117 in flv-embed.php, removing the black line seems to stop it. Although this wasn’t the end of the issues I had. I haven’t got it to actually load my FLVs yet.

I actually ended up finding a different plugin and it works great. It is WP OS FLV that you can embed it in the sidebar or just insert it into your code. Here is the example code.
    [wposflv src= previewimage= width=400 height=325 title=”My Birthday”]
