Floating bar can’t be added via Shortcode, if it’s disabled

    Hi folks,

    currently it’s not possible to add the floating bar via shortcode, if it’s disabled in the settings.

    If it’s turned on in the settings, it’s displayed twice.

    I needed to use the shortcode method, because the z-index-stack isn’t the same as of the mobile nav. The floating bar is inserted after the nav in another root and therefore the floating bar is rendered above the nav menu.

    Maybe you add a new option, which turns on/off the rendering of the floating shortcode separately independent of the main setting.

    Hi Mike,

    You can uncheck all the page-groups in the Placement option in the Floating Interface section at the plugin configuration page in the admin panel while keeping Floating social share enabled . This way only the shortcode will render floating bar at your website.

    thanks for the heads-up. After your reply, it was so obvious!!! Well, sorry for creating this ticket and having bothered you with that. It works perfectly now that I’ve disabled all the placement options.
