    Hi,

Which float restrictions? And what value section you are talking about? Could you clarify please?

hi, in basic modules, if you add a “Select” module
in suboptions, if you want a negative value or a special character, it won’t let you pass that..under “value” next to the title

    Hi,

Actually it allows negative numbers in version 4.0.4. But no special characters, numbers only.

And what about float? Please, clarify this one. Thanks!

when i put in a negative value in title it adds an underscore in place of the value, i didn’t try putting a negative sign in place of underscore there yet. i’ll try it now.

    float…decimal values, say…
    0.5
    1.5
    2.5
    3.5
these values cant be placed in there.

okay i’m on 4.0.4, negative values arent available
under select >> suboptions >> value i’m trying to add -1 and it would say
“This value seems to be invalid.”

I feel like we are talking about different things. What you will have to be interested in is “Price/Rate” setting. Negative values as well as decimals can be used perfectly well here: https://screenshots.firefox.com/OYknyk8xDlitO0FY/cpo.builderius.loc (please, notice green borders around those settings – it means that they are valid values).

Setting “Value” is actually a unique slug for suboption and it really has some limitations. There is no sense to put negative or decimals here as you cannot use these slugs anywhere, actually. They are used by the script to identify the choise made by user. That’s all.

oh its a slug ! okay that solves it then, thought there would be used in some place as a reference in cart or something but got it! thanks.
