what shortcode do you insert? There are no shortcodes related to flipbooks..
The file single-flip_pong.php is supposed to be created IN YOUR THEME DIRECTORY by the plugin. It’s normal if you don’t have this file in the plugin directory. Check that you have the file in your theme directory.

In the flipbook, in the html code (tab corresponding to the visual view), there is this shortcode :
[gallery ids="1475,1477,1478,1479,1480,1481,1482"]: these are the numbers of the pictures in the gallery.
So, I created a gallery and then I edited the options of the flipbook but when I preview the flipbook, nothing appears.
I created a new page, in relation with the flipbook: nothing appears. But if I insert the above mentioned shortcode [gallery ids ="..."] then the pictures display well but in three columns such as a pictures gallery.
In my theme directory, there is not the file single-flip_pong.php. I use a child theme of Dish (for restaurant – Themeforest).
Ok, it’s just because you don’t have the file file single-flip_pong.php in your theme directory.
Copy the file file single-flip_pong.txt and rename it file single-flip_pong.php.
(the plugin do that by itself, but I guess it doesn’t have the permission to do that…)

I did it but nothing changes.
I copied the file single-flip_pong.txt from the plugin directory into the theme directory and I renamed it in single-flip_pong.php. Nothing appears if I don’t insert the shortcode with the numbers of the pictures.
I tried to do a new flipbook but it is the same: only the pictures of the pages display as a gallery. When I click on a picture the flipbook appears with little thumbnails on the bottom of each page.

And it’s the way the plugin works.. You have to create a gallery (wich will insert the shortcode) to create a flipbook. What did you insert in your flipbook if it isn’t the shortcode ?

I created a flipbook , I inserted a gallery with pictures in the gallery. Then I created a new page.

Well, I don’t get why you say “I created a page”, you can’t insert a flipbook in a page for now… You can display it with or without header/footer, but that’s all.
(but you still can modify the template to disaply something more).
You can create a flipbook, insert a gallery into it (the shortcode [gallery ids="1475,1477,1478,1479,1480,1481,1482"] ). If you do that, does it work ?
(if not, I guess your theme is overwriting the flipong template..)
I created a new page because I want to insert an item in the menu and only pages can stay in the menu.
When I create the flipbook and the gallery, the result is the same as in a page: the pictures appear as a gallery.
