    Hello,

I just install the Photonic plugin and I have an issue with flickr import: No items found.

    I used this shortcode:
    [gallery type='flickr' user_id='75495888@N02' view='photos']
    [gallery type='flickr' user_id='75495888@N02' view='photos' photoset_id='72157674739024771' tag_mode='any' sort='date-posted-desc' layout='random' ]

In all the case there is no pictures.
My Api key and Api secret are save, my pictures are public and I use Divi theme.

    I’m using Divi themes

    Thank you

I am not facing any problems pulling your images with the same shortcodes. Can you provide me with a link to your page? My guess is that there is a JavaScript conflict preventing the images from loading.

Not sure what is wrong, but your website just doesn’t show up. I clicked on the link about 10 minutes back, and nothing has come up in Chrome as well as Firefox.

OK – I might be getting blocked by my LAN. I will check this later in the evening from a different network.

From the looks of it, you seem to have multiple plugins installed and activated, and some of them have rather bad markup issues. I don’t know if any of them has a conflict with Photonic, but maybe we can approach this issue by deactivating them all, then reactivating them one by one. These are the plugins you can consider deactivating first:

    1. Flickr Gallery
    2. Flickr Justified Gallery
    3. Photoswipe Masonry
    4. Embed Facebook

Try refreshing the page after you have deactivated these.

If things still don’t show up, then use the “Custom Shortcode” option in Photonic (Photonic → Settings → Generic Options → Generic Settings → Custom Shortcode). Instead of using the [gallery] shortcode, you can use something like photonic_gallery. Then, use these shortcodes:

    [photonic_gallery type='flickr' user_id='75495888@N02' view='photos']
    [photonic_gallery type='flickr' user_id='75495888@N02' view='photos' photoset_id='72157674739024771' tag_mode='any' sort='date-posted-desc' layout='random' ]

Let me know how it goes.

Thank you ! It was the extension photoswipe masonry the problem.

Now I have a problem of layout. Is there options to add in the shortcode to fix the number of column, the width of the album, the size of the picture and to use masonry layout ?

Otherwise I would like to know if it’s possible to show the flickr picture description during the preview of the picture in wordpress ?

    Thank you !

Yes, there are options for all of them.

    1. See the demo pages here for examples: https://wordpress.org/plugins/photonic/.
    2. You can see examples of the layout parameter here: http://aquoid.com/news/plugins/photonic/. The value layout='random' will generate a randomized tile layout, like a justified grid.
    3. This page shows both, layout='square' and layout='random' in action: http://aquoid.com/news/plugins/photonic/flickr/flickr-photos/
    4. You can use the columns parameter if your layout is square or circle.
    5. Settings are also provided for controlling thumbnail sizes, title display etc., at a very granular level. E.g. You can control the thumbnail sizes for photosets here: Photonic → Settings → Flickr → Flickr Photoset Thumbnails (with other Photosets)
