 * Hello,
 * If I try to add a gallery (or single photo etc), I keep getting the same error:
   no items found.
 * It seems that the plugin does not save the API key, because when I try to generate
   the gallery it says the following at the top of the page:
    “You have to define
   your Flickr API Key under Photonic → Settings → Flickr → Flickr Settings”
 * I have tried to turn off all my plugins but this doesn’t seem to help.
 * Any suggestions?
    Also, does a tutorial exist for this plugin?
 * Thank you in advance!

 * The links on the plugin’s page ([https://wordpress.org/plugins/photonic](https://wordpress.org/plugins/photonic))
   point to the usage instructions for each of the modes of use of the plugin.
 * That being said, when you go to _Photonic → Settings → Flickr → Flickr Settings_,
   do you see the saved API key under “Flickr API Key”? If that field is empty,
   and you have turned off all your plugins, then it is likely that the conflict
   is with your theme. In such a case, you might need to switch to one of the default
   themes (e.g. Twenty Fifteen) and try saving.

 * Thank you for the link, much appreciated!
 * I have tried several things to make the plugin work, and finally I managed, but
   I have no idea what the problem was. Right now I am back to all my old settings
   and the plugin still works.
 * The only thing is, on the dashboard, when I’m writing or editing a post or page
   in visual mode it still gives the message that no items are found. But after
   publishing it shows the gallery like it should. Is this normal?
 * Other than that, great plugin!

 * Sorry, I hadn’t seen your follow-up question.
 * In the visual editor you don’t see the gallery, because I haven’t integrated
   the shortcode processing into the backend. That is something I am considering
   for a future release.
