FlexyTalk One Way Communication and Incorrect Status

Suddenly FlexyTalk is not working correctly on my site.

First problem – if I receive a chat message and respond, my responses are not going through.

Second problem – often it will show user offline when I am in fact signed in to my gtalk account.

Any ideas on what may cause this behavior?
