Looks like a very promising plugin.
We are trying to display a custom post type in a Page Builder page layout section and are testing different widgets to find one that may be able to accomplish that task.
Flexible Posts Widget seemed promising, but it does not work properly when the widget is placed in a Page Builder page layout.
The tabbed option setting interface of the widget plugin seems to destruct. The same thing seemed to happen with the Special Recent Posts Pro tabbed option settings. (separate issue thread)
The Special Recent Posts Pro widget option tabs vanished although all the settings did display in one long list when the plugin settings were edited while it was inside a Page Builder section. I mention this in case there is a connection to this issue.
It would be great if you can recommend a Page Builder compatible plugin that will allow us to display a custom post type within a page layout. Specifically we are seeking to display a ONE SPECIFIC POST of custom post type of “funder” that is created by the WPMUDEV plugin Fundraiser.
Or it would be even more AWESOME if you could discover the source of the issue with these plugins.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Right now I’m improving Page Builder as much as possible until I can confidently encourage other plugin developers to add Page Builder support to their widgets.
A recent, fairly large, update I made (version 1.4.x) was specifically done to make Page Builder behave a little bit more like the standard widgets interface. So we’re making progress 🙂
