Support » Plugin: WooCommerce » Flat Rate shipping shows no charges

  • Resolved waynestiles

I’ve set up my flat rate shipping according to the instructions given in this page, but the Flat Rate shipping cost doesn’t show up – either on the checkout page or on the ShippingEasy label.

My store is here. See screenshot of the problem.

Can you take a screenshot of your shipping zone setup?

You’ll need inverted commas before the 19.85 so its fully quoted.

What’s an inverted comma? Do you mind showing me what should be in that field?

    Inverted commas: "

In your screenshot, in the flat rate cost field, I can see:
[fee percent=19.85" min_fee="3.97 though maybe the end of it is out of sight.
    Should be:
    [fee percent="19.85" min_fee="3.97"]

I did just as you suggested, but still the checkout page shows no amount. So I deleted all the formulas in brackets and just put 12 in the field. Then $12.00 showed up in the checkout page.

So I’m guessing the formula is the issue. If I want a minimum cost of $3.97 with an additional 19.85 percent added with every other item added, how do I note that?

Thanks for any help you can offer. I appreciate it.

This worked for me on my dev site with that formula and using Storefront, but I don’t have SSL.

Temporarily deactivate all your other plugins to be able to rule out a plugin conflict, does it work now?

I will try to duplicate your settings better:
    – what shipping class if any is the “Going Places with God” book?
    – what is your setting for the Shipping class costs / calculation type drop-down?

Try other formulae, what happens? Is it all formulae or just that one? eg:

    3.97 + [fee percent="19.85"]
    [fee percent="20"]
    [fee min_fee="3.97"]
    10 + ( 2 * [qty] )

I guess I plugged in the wrong formula, because it’s working now!

I’m very grateful to you for your help!

    Thank you.
