• According to WooThemes documentations, the Cost associated with Flat Rate Shipping applies to the entire cart.

For some reason, when 2 sellers’ products are in the cart, the Flat Rate Shipping charge is doubled.

The Local Delivery shipping charge remained constant, as expected. This delivery fee is defined as a Fixed Amount.

Why is the flat rate charge not just the cost specified for the whole cart? This rate should not be dependent on the number of sellers’ products in the cart.

I am not employing Shipping Classes yet. However, I see using Shipping Classes as a workaround if this can’t be fixed quickly.

Depends on your flat rate shipping, and your vendors plugin if thats what you’re using. I’d expect it’s the vendors plugin – if they are shipping their own products, it would make sense that shipping is separate.

The flat rate shipping cost is a straight $10.
We’re using Dokan, and the vendors ship together.

Then this might be a feature of Dokan.

The shipping add-on for Dokan products has not been installed, so it is not a result of our vendor plugin.
If this is a bug, I am happy to open a bug report.

I mean Doken may be charging shipping per vendor. This is not a WC bug.
