# Flash Uploader Problem

 * When trying to upload an image using the flash uploader I get this:
 * A problem has occurred
    Please contact [help@u.washington.edu](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/flash-uploader-problem/help@u.washington.edu?output_format=md)
   Error message: “multipart/form-data not allowed” Hitting Refresh will attempt
   to resubmit your request
 * Version: 2.6.x – 2.8.2; the “browser uploader” works just fine.
 * I also have a separate wordpress mu installation where the flash uploader works
   just fine; it is running 2.8.1.
