I am using your flash gallery plugin and have one question about arranging the photos within the flash gallery. I saw your example and would like to know what is the correct embed code for it?

I manage to add the images to the gallery, but once I preview the gallery, the images overlap and there`s no order.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

  • You need to set the ‘thumbsize’ parameter to whatever size you’re using. It defaults to 110.

    See the instructions.

    Hi!

    Thank you for your reply.

A funny thing just happened. The thumbnails in the Media section are set to 110, but in the embed code I used 200.

    [flashgallery rows="3" thumbsize="200" height="500px"]

    And now, it works 😀

I do not understand the logic of it, however.

I downloaded the plugin and I am happy about how relatively easy it is to integrate into my blog and also how visually pleasing and simple it is.

However I am stuck when testing it in Internet Explorer 7 & 8. The gallery does not show in these browsers. I have no problem in Chrome, Firefox, Safari & Opera.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

So I’ve been mucking about with the Flash Gallery, and it seems it only wants to do some of my changes.

No matter what thumbsize I make the images, they’re grouped up and overlapped at standard size.

Ah, I see. “Thumbsize” spaces the images whereas the Media gallery is what will resize the actual thumbnails.
