Flash banner ads have erratic new window-opening behavior (is my code correct?)

I have Adrotate managing the top banner ad on sonicscoop.com, however I am having an issue with erratic/unpredictable window-opening behavior when ads are clicked. By that I mean, some ads open the ad in a new browser tab, some open in the same tab, and some open in BOTH the same tab AND a new tab.

I removed “target=blank” tag, but it still has the same behavior. I’m doing most of my testing on Firefox. In Safari all ads seem to open in the same window when there’s no target=blank (which it should), but when I add target=blank it opens in both the same window and a new window (try clicking The Lodge ad to see). So I’m thinking there are some weird browser-compatibility issues also at play. Can you check the source code, does it look wrong?

Below are how the .swf files behave on their own, and how they behave when embedded on the page:

* it’s a jpg file so there’s no issues here

* swf file = opens in new window
* ad = opens in both same and new window

* swf file = opens in new window
* ad = opens in both same and new window

* swf file = opens in same window
* ad = opens in same window when there’s no target=blank. With target=blank it opens in both the same window and a new window

FYI I’m using WordPress v2.9.2, Adrotate 2.6.1

I’ve been trying everything I can think of and nothing works. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
