Flagged Spam Stays in Pending

    My Akismet subscription expired. When I got it going again, the service now flags comments as spam, but leaves them sitting in the pending folder so I still have to review and manually move them to trash.

    Setting on the plugin call for: Strictness Akismet anti-spam strictness
    Silently discard the worst and most pervasive spam so I never see it.

    Hi there,

    I suspect this was due to some caching on your or our side, and it “fixed itself” once the cache got properly cleared, or expired.

    Do let us know (https://akismet.com/contact) if you find yourself in the same situation again, though, and we’ll be happy to look into it, and potentially speed things up. 🙂
