Fixed Pricing by Product by Role

    Hi,

    I’m considering buying the Pro version, but have a question. I am working on a winery site and wine club members will be registered with their own role.

    The winery’s discount policy is not based on percentage discounts, but each bottle has a specific fixed wine club member discount. It is not a global fixed price per bottle. Is this possible the pro version?

    General public will be able to buy at retail prices and can register at purchase.

    Hi,
    Thanks for your query. The way to get an unique single product + role discount rule, is to put the product into an unique category (Product or Pricing Deals Category) and then create a rule using that category + the desired role…

    I’d like to make sure I have this correct.
    I would need to make a pricing category for each product and link that to the role?

    Say I have four wines:

    The wine club member price for wine #1 is $4.00 off of the retail price.
    The wine club member price for wine #2 is $2.50 off of the retail price.
    Wine #3 is $3.50 off of the retail price.
    Wine #4 is $5.00 off of the retail price.

    I would need to make a new product category for each fixed dollar off the retail price. So I would have four categories, am I correct?

    Hi,
    Yup, that’s it… but if Wine #5 is also $4 off, it can participate in the same category and rule as Wine #1.
