    Hi,

to what extent is the change listed in the changelog considered a fix?
In my opinion, it’s a bug, because this way it’s no longer possible for guests to submit events while creating an account at the same time, since the creation of an organizer is no longer possible during the submission process.
Also, even with the “Enable Organizer” option enabled in the ACP, there is no menu/no submenu available for managing organizers anymore.
    Why is that?

    Thanks 🙂

Even as Admin you cannot edit Organizer? If you click on an Organizer in the Event-Listing in the ACP you are redirected to the Event-Listing-Page.

    Thank you 🙂

I just hit this problem as my organizers actually have shop_manager roles and they could no longer edit those items. I had to edit my shop_manager and admin roles. There are plugins that allow you to do this. You need to add manage_organizers and manage_venues capabilities to any roles you are using (eg admin, shop_manager, customer etc) and it will work again.

    Hello,

We understand your concern. Currently, only the organizer has access to create and edit organizers and venues. This change was implemented due to security concerns. However, in our upcoming updates, we will be introducing an option that allows you to select which user roles should have access to these features.

    Regards,

    WP Event Manager.

Venues not available in backend. Admin/organizer cannot add or edit venues. Tried through venue dashboard and get ” You need a higher level of permission. Sorry, you are not allowed to create posts as this user.” What happaned? I can add events, but not any new venues.

I have updated the Plugin and it has overwritten my necessary fixes to work again (logically so far).
But the new Version (3.2.2 ) did not fix this.
    The error is happening again.

I use your Plugin for Years on a relative big website with thousands of users and hundreds of events and a lot of your Addons.
Your Plugin could be the best Event-Manager out there, it looks very nice.
But the code is poor and gets poorer in the last years …
Lots of Bugs and big changes in fundamental funtcionalities and processes without notifying before, not following WordPress Coding Standards.
Unfortunately this costs us a lot developing-hours.
Over all I would not choose this Event-Manager-Plugin again.

PLEASE work on your code-quality and QM :/
    Thx.
