# Fixed extra charge

 * Hello,
 * is there a possibility to add an fixed extra charge to the calculated shipping?
   
   Would be great for fixed packing fee and so on, hidden in the shipping costs.

 * Hi Dominik,
 * unfortunately there is no way to add a fixed extra charge to the calculated shipping.
   We’ll also be removing the automatic shipping calculation within the checkout
   with version 2.0 of the plugin (you can find the reasons in [this post](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/live-versandkostenberechnung-im-checkout-und-warum-sie-nicht-funktioniert/)).
   So this is a feature that won’t make it into the plugin in combination with the
   automatic calculation.
