# Fixed Columns – Column Alignment Issue

 * Hi Tobias,
 * I’m using the Fixed Columns extension, and I’ve fixed the first 2 columns.
 * The fixed columns are slightly out of alignment with the other columns.

 * thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.
 * I see what you mean, but unfortunately, I have no clue why this happens 🙁
    Does
   this also happen when the Row Details Extension is deactivated?
 * This is most likely a JS/CSS problem, but as I’m not an expert with that particular
   code (it’s all coming from the external DataTables JavaScript library), I can’t
   really make suggestions here 🙁

 * I deactivated the Row Details extension but it made no difference.

   there can see why this happens…
