    Hi,

So I want to create a fixed cart coupon that excludes sale items but if you have sale items in your cart it doesn’t apply the coupon. How do I get around this or make it so that it will apply the discount even if there are sale items in the cart?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @tarryn7,

You can set the sale products in the ‘Exclude Product’ section under usage restriction.

Hello, I’m having the same issue and even exlcuding products the problem is the same: “Products that the coupon will not be applied to, or THAT CANNOT BE IN THE CART in order for the “Fixed cart discount” to be applied.”

Is there any walkarounds to this?

    Regards.

Hi, we are still having the above 2 mentioned issues.

Is there a working solution to this?

    Hi @totelite, @theox89,

If you enable the “Exclude sale items” option for a Fixed cart discount or fixed product discount coupon, it won’t be applicable if the cart contains products that are on sale. It will work if the coupon type is ‘percentage discount’ and the discount will be applicable for items in the cart that aren’t on sale.

This is a Woocommerce default workflow and not something handled via this plugin. To confirm, this you can disable this plugin and try out the same with all 3 coupon types. Sorry that we cannot be of further assistance.
