fix the widget interface

I’m new to wordpress. But I had good instructions and got everything up and running… until I hit the widgets page. First, I was using wp25x and figured out how to delete a widget. lol. Ok.

Then I upgraded to wp26x, and oh my god… this thing has a mind of its own. It does the opposite of what I tell it to do. It seems to automatically create widgets, like a default. But when I try to add RSS widget, first the RSS widget does not appear; but secondly, all the ‘default’ widgets disappear.

This is so incredibly buggy and screwy. This is my first wordpress blog and I’ve wasted the entire evening with this.

What I just did was completely remove this from my host. I will start all over and try this again.

I don’t understand why this widgets ‘issue’ seems to be such an issue.
