• I’m new to this forum, but I’m on many other forums with my various other interests. Thanks to everyone for replying to these repetitive issues.

First, I’ve researched and tried to figure this out on my own, but I’m just not getting it. I can hold my own with hardware, OS and desktop issues, but I know nothing about setting up a website.

Here’s what I would like to do –

I would like to setup a public website. I’m just getting my feet wet right now, so all I want to do is have my domain published with a simple log-in main screen where I can login and access my personal files on my WD EX2100 NAS. I have dropbox, and know there are other ways of doing this, but I’m just learning and tinkering right now and want to do it this way.

Here’s what I have setup so far –

    1) WD My Cloud EX2100, 3TB, RAID 1, static IP on my home subnet.
    2) I have a domain registered with DYN and it is just parked right now.
    3) I have my home Netgear router configured to use DDNS with DYN and it is active and updating.
    4) I have WordPress installed on my NAS and a login created.

    How do I –

How do I link my http://www.webpage.com that I have registered at DYN to my WordPress account? The WordPress help files say to move the root install to it’s own directory, but I can’t find the WordPress local directory on my NAS to allow me to move these files.

My goal, for now, is just to go to http://www.webpage.com and have a login screen displayed. Once I login I would like to have access to a portion of my NAS that I setup for access through this method.

Any help or tips are appreciated!
