First Video Plays in Youtube (Again)

    Hi there, I have a client who uses this plugin and we noticed recently that his first video if clicked opens and plays in Youtube rather than on the site.

    I noticed there was another thread for this same issue, but looks like it was over a year old and already marked resolved. I’m wondering if a recent update may have somehow caused this plugin to break?

    I actually use this plugin on a bunch of websites, and so far none of them seem to be behaving the same way. Thinking it may have been specific to the website, I deactivated all plugins I was using and removed external scripts as well but it is still giving me the same problem. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

    Issue is not from a recent update, as there hasn’t been one 🙂

    The other post had a conflict with another YouTube plugin. I suspect that it’s either a plugin or theme conflict. Anything special with that theme’s handling of galleries or embeds? Most likely it’s a bit of scripting that is looking for images in a gallery or links to youtube videos and trying to handle them itself, overriding and blocking the scripts from this plugin.
