• Good morning,

I have very slow performance in WordPress admin and would any/all these at the numbers shown be contributing, or are they in acceptable range

    Post Sweep
    -Revisions 6,843
    -Orphaned Post Meta 13
    -Duplicated Post Meta 689

    User Sweep
    -Duplicated User Meta 4

    Term Sweep
    -Orphaned Term Relationship 132
    -Unused Terms 37

    Option Sweep
    -Transient Options 86

    Database Sweep
    -Optimise Tables 104

In particular the Revisions figure has me thinking it could be the culprit. The WP-Sweep text below has me concerned because I have many draft posts which I am not ready to publish yet (each still a work in progress),

Note that some unused terms might belong to draft posts that have not been published yet. Only sweep all when you do not have any draft posts.

Does an Unused Term refer to my glossary terms as I have a glossary plugin (CM Tool tip Glossary) and I always publish these first, never draft.

    Thanks,

I can’t answer that because I am not sure how another plugin is using the terms. Note that WP-Sweep is to clear as much thing as possible back to the original state of WordPress, so if you are unsure, I think safer for you not to sweep it.

So I have all these items that look like they need sweeping but to stay safe I shouldn’t sweep at all. Doesn’t optimizing leave the things alone that it should?

If that’s my only warning message am I safe to selectively sweep the other sections i.e. leave “Term Sweep” alone for now

It is more like notice and that is the only notice for that sweep, the rest has no notices. WordPress is freeform, so anyone can do anything without any proper guidelines, so any of the sweep technically will not break WP with plugins that are done properly (with the exception of terms – and hence the warning)

That clear it up thanks Lester,
I also have done all the actions independently except the Term sweep unused.
