# First step…

 * I hate to ask but I seem to not understand this. I have a wordpress.com blog 
   but want wordpress.org. I contracted with a host – lunarpages. I understand I
   probably need to start my blog from scratch – I can’t move from .com to .org.
   However, I just can’t figure out how to get a blog set up. I did the scripted
   install on lunarpages; I downloaded the .zip files on the wordpress.org pages.
   How do I get the blog shell created? I don’t see a simple button to “create a
   blog”. I am looking forward to the versatility of .org but I need the page to
   be created first and can’t figure out where to start.

 * Review [Installing WordPress](http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress)
   to install WordPress at your domain.
 * On your wordpress.COM blog, make sure you do Manage->Export to get all your posts
   etc.
 * Then when you have WordPress successfully installed at lunarpages, do Manage-
   >Import->WordPress to import that file you created at wordpress.COM.
