    Hi,

Why is the first item in the slide always scaled and zoomed in on mobile but the rest are fine?

    Thanks

Are you referring to the “Our Treatments” section or the testimonials section below?

When I view the site in both Chrome device emulator and my phone, both sliders appear normal. Are you referring to the effect in Chrome when you switch from desktop to mobile for testing?

    hi,

yes that’s right, on my phone (iphone 6 – safari) the first tab is zoomed in or scaled then when i scroll to the 2nd slide it’s normal sized…

it’s fine on desktop, seems to be phone related.

Thanks, that helps. It would also help if you could post a link to a screenshot of the problem.

I don’t have an iPhone to test on but I have one other report of odd slider behavior on iPhone. The plugin uses an older slider script (bxSlider) that I plan to replace with a more modern slider very soon and that may solve this problem.

    Yes sure.

    Slide 1: https://imgur.com/AkdsmpM (scaled)

    Slide 2: https://imgur.com/TO6tYQv (normal)

Slide 3: https://imgur.com/GQ0FUhl (shows the slide scrolling and 1 scaled and 1 not)

I also noticed when the first slide comes round for the second time it slides in small/normal but then scales up.

    Excellent, thanks.

The plugin works by only showing the first slide and hiding the rest. Once the page is completely loaded (known as document ready) the slider starts. Since the first slide is showing before the slider even starts, I wonder if this is somehow caused by the theme in its responsive CSS.

On the Testimonials > Settings > Compatibility tab, try setting “Ajax Page Loading” to General. As near as I can tell, your site does not use Ajax page loading but that mechanism may help. Also try setting “Load Event” to “window load”. If neither help, then set them back to the default settings.
