bbPress Threaded Replies
First Reply displays twice on topic page (5 posts)

I've run into a problem with threaded replies where the first reply to a topic is displayed twice on the topic page.

Further, when a user adds an unthreaded reply to the page, the user is routed to a page that displays only the reply; it's the same for a threaded reply. For example a topic at:
    localhost/wp/forums/topic/new-topic-for-forum-two/
Routes the user to here for a 'normal' reply:
    localhost/wp/forums/reply/reply-to-new-topic-for-forum-two/page/2/#reply-2607
And to here for a threaded reply:
    localhost/wp/forums/reply/reply-to-new-topic-for-forum-two/#reply-2613

The site permalinks are configured to the 'Post name' setting:
    localhost/wp/sample-post/

After I disable threaded replies, the bbpress forum functions as expected. Any ideas as to a fix?

I'm using WP 3.5, Twenty Twelve theme v1.1, bbPress v2.2.3 and bbPress Threaded Replies 0.4.3. The site is pretty bare-bones right now, only bbpress, threaded replies and ReadyMade WordPress Importer

I duplicated your setup as closely as I could but can't get the duplicated reply or the redirect to a single reply. Is there anything else different about your installation?

Same exact thing is happening to me.

First reply after leading post is duplicated and whenever you post a new comment, you are redirected to a different page.

I can also verify that this problem exists. I would be happy to provide more information towards resolution.

It looks like there has been no reply from the author for 7 months now.

Is there interest in continuing to support this plugin, or has it become dormant?
