Hi I have the following Problem: I always have to login twice, to get into my wordpress Dashboard. The first login attempt always fails. But there is no message that the password is wrong or anything. After klick the send button I stay on the login page. When I enter my login credentials again the system grants access and the dashboard shoes up.

This causes a lot ob support to my customers right now, because a lot of them don't try it for the second time, and report an error with their account data.

Anybody an idea what the problem is?

    Thanks
    Zoohelter

Have you been troubleshooting any possible conflict with other plugins or such?

Hi, I could fix this by disabling the "MOP vars (Membership Options Page Variables). Since then everything works fine. Any suggestion why this happens with this option being active?

Do you have a caching plugin running? If so, try reinstating the MOP variables, clearing the cache, and then see if it works.

Then I'm thinking the same as cassel: most likely, there's a plugin conflict but, for whatever reason, it only kicks in when you use the MOP variables.

I'm guessing it may be related to this: http://www.s2member.com/kb/blank-page-414-error-request-uri-too-long/

If it is, then it'd be best to adjust your limit, because there are other URLs in s2Member that are also long, and can't be disabled.

But the MOP vars aren't related to the login, though, so I'm not sure it fully answers your original question, but it's worth investigating.

    I hope that helps. :)

I'm having the same problem on my page. I've seen it generating URI's as long as 13,000 characters.
