# First install: problems in wordpress 4.0?

 * I’ve installed the plugins and set the post to exclude and set the query filtering
   to “All Loops”.
    I’ve checked some post to be excluded in home page.
 * The problem is that these posts get hidden only in the featured section of the
   theme i’m using, but not in the main loop.
 * What can I do?

 * I’ve looked at the theme function and seem to be an hook to the ‘pre_get_posts’
   too. Maybe a conflict with the hook of the plugin?
    Anyway, managed to get it
   working editing simplyexclude.php deleting the priority.
 * Changed:
    add_filter(‘pre_get_posts’, array(&$this,’se_filters’),999); To: add_filter(‘
   pre_get_posts’, array(&$this,’se_filters’));
 * And it started working.
    What I can do to make this edit permanent avoiding problem
   on update?

 * Generally I want the se_filters hook to execute last. This is the reason for 
   the 999 option. What I can do is setup a define you can add to your theme functions.
   php or wp-config.php which will override that 999 value. Something like
 * define(‘SE_FILTERS_PRIORITY’, 1);
 * I’ll include this in the next release.
