First image in grid is not loading (visible), but is clickable to lightbox

    Hello, I just installed the FTG Lite product, and am very happy with the customization and flexibility of the tool. I’m able to adjust what I need to with CSS, which is great!

    One small issue, that is occurring across desktop and mobile: the first thumbnail (top left hand corner) is not visible, although it is clickable, and shows up properly in the lightbox.

    All other images display properly in the grid and lightbox, so I’m not sure why only the first one is having this issue.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi, could be that that image has not the chosen image size?

    Do this test: click the EDIT button below the first image and choose a standard image size like “medium 300×300” and check the gallery.

    Otherwise I need the URL to check the issue.

    Diego, thanks for your response.

    Unfortunately, I am using the “random” display order, so this occurs basically with all of the images in that gallery. It’s only the top LH or very rarely now the top middle image in a 3-column setup that doesn’t display.

    I added a white border around the images, and the border appears, but not the thumbnail. There is a clickable URL in the “negative” space, that opens up the correct image in the lightbox, which is expected behaviour. So it would seem that the only issue is the actual rendering of that thumbnail.

    Fixed by deactivating Lazy Loading.

    Thanks again for the excellent support! To confirm, the issue was caused by Lazy Loading being active in the Jetpack plugin on my installation. There wasn’t a need for this to be active, as from what I understand now, the FTG Lite plugin already does a form of this.

    Very impressed with the features and capabilities of the product, and will be using it again on other client’s sites. Thanks again!
